FARMWILL

Marketing of farm products produced at William Orchards are done by its sister company - Farmwill. Products with shorter shelf life are generally sold locally while commercial products like mangoes, bananas and coconuts, both tender and mature, are marketed at a wider scale.

Avocardos, spiny custard apples, sour sop, water apple and star fruit also attract an seasonally a substantial niche market. Farm grown pomellos are also very popular. Hand picked panneer guava, panneer jambai and sycamore are some exotic fruits that are very popular with some of our informed cientelle.

Difficult to grow Amberella and star fruits are very popular with people from Sri Lanka as they are reputed to have medicinal value especially for diabetics.

FARMWILL is also used for marketting saplings of dragon fruit, sapota, jackfruit and also different varieties of mangoes. A small nursery is maintained at William Orchards Farm for this purpose.
